Saturday 9th June 2018 was the turn of Victoria & Guy to get hitched... Their chosen venue for the ceremony was Selby Abbey, a beautiful Abbey that I was delighted to be able to style with our blossom package...
It all started to take shape as we delivered and styled the blossom trees and arch, accompanied by our white lantern set in the Abbey on the Friday afternoon which in its self was tricky. The abbey is open to everyone to come and enjoy the stunning architecture, history and a quiet moment so timing was of the essence !
We arrived at 3pm and all was going really well then a large group of tourists arrived and were in owe of the blossoms. Many many photos later and a few laughs we were done, so back to the studio to carry on creating the floral lushness.
Victoria & Guy hose our tall foot vases with domes of pastel floral's and foliage's.
On the wedding day we were on stand by hiding in the Abbey to remove the blossom trees, arch and lanterns after the ceremony and hot foot it back to Rogerthorpe Manor where the wedding breakfast was being held to add to the already beautiful styling.
Victoria wanted a dainty floral half crown and I styled it using spray roses, ivy and fern...
It was a pleasure to be part of this wedding day, lots of logistics and timings, bridesmaids, buttonholes, 14 table designs and a Abbey to style but juggle we did and the results were just beautiful.
